How to Watch the NBA and Raptors in Canada (2026-27): Channels, Streaming and Prime Video

What channel are the Raptors on? TSN, Sportsnet and Prime Video

Coverage of the Toronto Raptors is split between TSN and Sportsnet. Sportsnet's announced 2025-26 schedule had 41 national Raptors broadcasts. For 2026-27, Sportsnet+ lists 35 regular-season Raptors games; TSN hadn't published its 2026-27 regular-season Raptors schedule as of Oct 1, 2026. Prime Video's announced 2026-27 schedule includes two Raptors games.

Why the Raptors are on both TSN and Sportsnet

TSN and Sportsnet are separate, competing networks: TSN belongs to Bell, Sportsnet to Rogers. On Oct 1, 2026 Rogers completed its purchase of the remaining 25% of MLSE, giving it 100% of the Raptors (and the Maple Leafs, Toronto FC and the Argonauts). But Rogers and Bell already shared the Raptors' TV rights, which is why Raptors coverage is split between TSN and Sportsnet, and why you need both networks, or both of their streaming services, to see all of their Raptors games. Under a 20-year agreement announced Sept 18, 2024, which renews that rights deal once it expires (subject to league approval), Rogers says Bell will have access to 50% of the Raptors games MLSE controls. NBA on Prime Video in Canada (2026-27)

From 2026-27, Prime Video carries NBA games in Canada, included with an Amazon Prime membership: $9.99/month or $99/year (as of October 2026, plus tax). Prime for Students & 19–24 year olds is $4.99/month or $49/year (as of October 2026, plus tax), and Amazon says that discounted membership is 50% off and comes with a six-month free trial. In Canada, Prime Video also offers NBA League Pass and NBA TV as add-on channels, and it has the NHL's exclusive national Wednesday Night Hockey package in Canada (see NHL on Prime Video).

How to watch the NBA without cable in Canada

To stream both networks' Raptors games without cable, you need a TSN plan and Sportsnet+, because TSN and Sportsnet are separate, competing networks. Prime Video's NBA games need Amazon Prime. Here's what each service has for basketball fans.

For TSN's and Sportsnet's Raptors games, TSN Standard plus Sportsnet+ Standard covers both networks: TSN Standard streams TSN1–5 live, and both Sportsnet+ plans include the same NBA games. TSN Premium is for more of the league (75 more NBA games). Add Amazon Prime for Prime Video's announced Raptors games, the Play-In Tournament and the Eastern Conference Finals.

Watching other NBA games: US matchups and national games

Beyond the Raptors, NBA games in Canada are spread across several services:

• Sportsnet+: 200+ US NBA games, in both Standard and Premium.
• TSN: NBA games on TSN1–5, streamed live on TSN Standard, and 75 more NBA games on TSN Premium.
• Prime Video: its own slate, from its opening doubleheader and NBA Cup group-play doubleheaders to the Play-In Tournament and the Eastern Conference Finals.
• Sportsnet+ TV Provider Add-on: for people who already get Sportsnet through a TV provider, it includes 125+ NBA matchups (details below).
• NBA League Pass: out-of-market games, except those blacked out in Canada (nationally broadcast games, some NBA Cup games, All-Star and playoff games after Round 1); nationally broadcast games are on demand about 3 hours after they end. Apart from that playoff rule, the NBA's blackout page doesn't say how League Pass treats Prime Video's games, so watch those on Prime Video.

Don't assume a game's Canadian channel from its US network. To see where a given game airs in Canada, check that day's NBA schedule.

NBA League Pass in Canada: what's blacked out

NBA League Pass is sold in Canada, but with blackouts: in Canada it blacks out nationally broadcast games live, and they're on demand about 3 hours after the game ends. Some NBA Cup games, All-Star and playoff games after Round 1 are also blacked out.

The NBA's help centre says you should be able to watch games blacked out in Canada on a national broadcaster such as Sportsnet or TSN. Blackouts follow your current location (your IP address, or location services if they're on), and the NBA publishes a Canadian blackout schedule.

Viewed from Canada, NBA.com's League Pass page says nationally broadcast games on TSN and Sportsnet, and all Toronto Raptors games, aren't available to watch live on League Pass; an archive of each game is available after the broadcast.

League Pass is sold on NBA.com and in the NBA app. On NBA.com, 2026-27 League Pass is $129.99 per season or $19.99/month (as of October 2026, plus tax), and League Pass Premium $184.99 per season or $27.99/month (as of October 2026, plus tax). NBA.com's season plans renew automatically before the next season; monthly plans can be paused or cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the billing cycle. In Canada, League Pass is also offered as a Prime Video add-on channel, and Bell TV residential customers can add NBA League Pass with NBA TV Canada (Fibe TV channels 1415 and 1471–1481; Bell Satellite TV channels 852, 1418 and 1470–1480); neither showed a League Pass price as of October 2026. Watching with cable, satellite or IPTV (and NBA TV Canada)

With cable, satellite or IPTV, you need TSN and Sportsnet in your package for both networks' Raptors games. Two providers' sports packs, and the Sportsnet+ options for TV customers:

• Bell TV: outside Quebec, the TSN & Sportsnet pack ($23/month) has TSN1–5, Sportsnet and Sportsnet One. The Sports Fan pack ($25/month) adds Sportsnet 360, NBA TV Canada and more, and TSN1–5 on its own is $22/month. Bell's sports-packages page doesn't list these packs for Quebec. Bell TV residential customers can also add NBA League Pass with NBA TV Canada (Fibe TV channels 1415 and 1471–1481; Bell Satellite TV channels 852, 1418 and 1470–1480). Bell also says eligible Bell TV customers with an active TSN subscription get TSN Premium at no extra cost in the TSN app; TSN Premium adds 75 more NBA games.
• Rogers: the Sports theme pack ($25/month, where it's available for your TV service) includes Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, Sportsnet One, Sportsnet 360, TSN1–5, NBA TV Canada, NFL Network, MLB Network and more.
• Sportsnet+ with your TV login: signing in through select TV providers, including Rogers, Shaw, Telus, Bell, Source, SaskTel and Cogeco, unlocks Sportsnet+ for the Sportsnet channels in your package.
• Sportsnet+ TV Provider Add-on ($12.99/month): for people who already get Sportsnet through a TV provider. It includes 125+ NBA matchups, along with Monday Night Hockey, 100+ US NHL games and 100+ MLB matchups.

NBA TV Canada and NBA TV

NBA TV Canada is in the Rogers Sports theme pack and, outside Quebec, Bell TV's Sports Fan pack, and it comes with Bell TV's NBA League Pass add-on for residential customers. In Canada, Prime Video offers NBA TV as an add-on channel, and Fubo Canada carries NBA TV only through its Sports Plus add-on or its "Cricket with Sports Plus" plan.

How to watch the NBA in French

RDS carries select Raptors and NBA games in French. RDS streaming is $24.99/month, $64.99 for 3 months or $199.90/year (as of October 2026, plus tax), and TSN sells a TSN Premium + RDS bundle for $30.99/month (as of October 2026, plus tax). Outside Quebec, Bell TV's Sports Franco pack, $10/month (as of October 2026, plus tax), includes RDS, RDS2 and RDS Info; Bell's sports-packages page doesn't list it for Quebec.

Prime Video's NBA coverage, including its announced Raptors games, the Play-In Tournament and the Eastern Conference Finals, is in English.

NBA Play-In Tournament and playoffs in Canada

• Play-In Tournament: exclusive to Prime Video, 6 games over three nights in April 2027.
• First and second rounds: Prime Video has select games.
• Sportsnet+: both plans include, in Sportsnet+'s words, “half of all playoff games”.
• TSN: TSN's subscribe page says its NBA coverage on TSN Standard includes select playoff games.
• Eastern Conference Finals: exclusive to Prime Video (May 2027). If the Raptors get there, that series is on Prime Video.
• NBA League Pass: playoff games after Round 1 are blacked out in Canada.
