How to Watch the 2026 World Series in Canada: Channels, Streaming and Dates

What channel is the World Series on in Canada?

Sportsnet in English, with every game streaming on Sportsnet+. In French, RDS says it has the 2026 World Series (details below). In the US, the World Series is on FOX.

MLB's list doesn't include TSN or RDS, but RDS says it will carry the 2026 World Series in French. TSN and Sportsnet are separate, competing networks: TSN belongs to Bell and Sportsnet to Rogers. If you're not sure which one you have, our Sportsnet vs TSN guide explains the difference.

Getting Sportsnet on TV

If Sportsnet is already in your TV package, check each day's MLB schedule for the channel: Sportsnet's channels include Sportsnet One and Sportsnet 360. If you don't have Sportsnet, these sports packs add it:

• Bell TV: the Sports Fan pack, $25/month (as of October 2026, plus tax), includes Sportsnet, Sportsnet One and Sportsnet 360. Bell's TSN & Sportsnet pack, $23/month (as of October 2026, plus tax), has TSN1–5, Sportsnet and Sportsnet One, but not Sportsnet 360.
• Rogers: the Sports theme pack, where Rogers offers it for your TV service, $25/month (as of October 2026, plus tax). It includes Sportsnet, Sportsnet+, Sportsnet One, Sportsnet 360 and TSN1–5, among others.

2026 MLB postseason schedule and Canadian channels

After the Wild Card Series (Sept 29 to Oct 1), here's the rest of the 2026 postseason and where to watch each round in Canada.

Start times are set once each matchup is known. Each day's MLB schedule (linked in the table) lists the games and channels as they're announced (it doesn't list TVA Sports 2 for the National League games), and the MLB schedule has every other date.

What channel are the ALCS and NLCS on in Canada?

The NLCS (National League Championship Series) runs Sunday, Oct 11 to Monday, Oct 19, and the ALCS (American League Championship Series) runs Monday, Oct 12 to Tuesday, Oct 20. In English, both are on Sportsnet, and Sportsnet+ streams every game of both series. The Division Series (ALDS and NLDS), Saturday, Oct 3 to Saturday, Oct 10, is the same: Sportsnet on TV, Sportsnet+ for streaming.

In French, RDS says it will carry the American League playoff series in 2026, and TVA Sports says TVA Sports 2 has the National League series. Check RDS's and TVA Sports' own listings before first pitch. RDS's streaming subscription is $24.99/month (as of October 2026, plus tax), and TVA Sports' streaming service, TVA Sports Direct, is $24.99/month (as of October 2026, plus tax).

How to stream the World Series in Canada

Sportsnet+ streams every postseason and World Series game in English, and both of its plans carry them:

You don't need Premium for baseball. Its extras are mostly hockey: out-of-market NHL games and every US-vs-US NHL game, a choice of home or away NHL feed, plus Sportsnet World events.

For the playoffs alone, Standard's monthly plan is the cheaper choice: the last possible World Series game is Saturday, Oct 31. The annual plan is worth it only if you'll keep subscribing for most of the year: Standard also includes all national Saturday Night Hockey games, Monday Night Hockey, 35 regular-season Raptors games and 150+ Blue Jays games. Our NHL guide covers the hockey side.

Already have Sportsnet through your TV provider?

If Sportsnet is part of your TV package, you can sign in to Sportsnet+ through select TV providers, including Rogers, Shaw, Telus, Bell, Source, SaskTel and Cogeco, to stream the Sportsnet channels in your package.

What about MLB.TV?

We haven't confirmed that MLB.TV includes the 2026 postseason in Canada, so don't count on it for the World Series. The confirmed streaming options are Sportsnet+ and, for the World Series in French, RDS's streaming subscription. Fubo sells MLB.TV in Canada at $39.99/month, as an add-on to a Fubo base plan (as of October 2026, plus tax), but we haven't confirmed that it includes the 2026 postseason.

How to watch the World Series in French

RDS has the 2026 World Series in French (la Série mondiale), by its own account:

• Streaming: RDS's streaming subscription includes every World Series game, at $24.99/month (as of October 2026, plus tax).
• On TV: Bell TV's Sports Franco pack, at $10/month (as of October 2026, plus tax), includes RDS, RDS2, RDS Info, TVA Sports and TVA Sports 2, so it covers both French channels.

For the French broadcasts of the Division Series, NLCS and ALCS, see the ALCS and NLCS section above.

Is the World Series on free TV in Canada?

We haven't confirmed a free over-the-air broadcast of the 2026 World Series in Canada. The confirmed ways to watch are Sportsnet on TV, Sportsnet+ for streaming and RDS in French.

Are the Blue Jays in the 2026 playoffs?

No. The Toronto Blue Jays were eliminated on Sept 23, 2026, losing 4–2 to the Baltimore Orioles, and finished 79–83.

In the regular season, every Blue Jays game airs on Sportsnet in Canada except Apple TV games, and both Sportsnet+ plans include 150+ Jays games. Our MLB and Blue Jays guide has the details.
