TVA Sports in brief

TVA Sports is a French-language sports network owned by Groupe TVA (Québecor), launched Sept 12, 2011. It has two feeds, TVA Sports and TVA Sports 2 (TVA Sports 3 is a temporary playoff overflow), and streams on TVA Sports Direct. It's separate from TSN and RDS, which belong to Bell, and from Sportsnet, which belongs to Rogers.

TVA Sports holds a 12-year French national NHL sublicence: up to 350 regular-season games, including 32 Canadiens games, every Canadiens playoff game in French, 6 of 8 first-round and 3 of 4 second-round series, the conference finals and the Stanley Cup Final. TVA lists 22 Senators games, and NHL schedule data lists TVA Sports on some national games of the Maple Leafs, Jets, Oilers, Flames and Canucks.

Wednesday Night Hockey isn't on TVA Sports: it's exclusive to Prime Video, in English and French, included with Prime.

TVA Sports Direct costs $24.99/month or $199.99/year. Prices in Canadian dollars as of October 2026, plus tax.
